Best of All, It’s a Cadillac
So I might have been channeling 1986 there. I have to give credit to Covert Cadillac for a fantastic service experience. My ATS needed a recall repair and my loaner car was sold during the wait for repair. I graciously returned the loaner and was provided with a 2015 Cadillac SRX. Albeit, the “soccer mom” or “daddy” factor was in full force, however, the car is exquisitely crafted and phenomenally appointed. One of my complaints of luxury cars is that they miss the mark on luxury trying to be a performance sport machine. Sometimes you just want to be pampered. Cadillac did a damn good job on the SRX and Covert’s service division is amazing; see David Pearson.

Who Knew Henri’s Cheese Shop Serves Great Wine and Dinner?
Hoping for a quiet and simple dinner, we were originally headed to Barley Swine but it was too crowded. Henri’s provided intimate seating and a simple dinner menu. The cheese was, of course, wonderful and the beet salad a work of food art. $150 for an app, salad and one entree and 4 glasses of wine felt a little steep for two, but the experience was delightful and it was quite nice to dine somewhere hushed for a change. Any Means made adequate cheese and wine suggestions.
